I'm going to hockey camp 18th - 25th of August, but can do any other date.
just wondering if we could coax a group of Brits or Americans to form a squad, I don't mind helping to train them as well, if we could get them to come along too.
I think thats a good idea, I have, (rather belatedly and not very successfully
), been trying to organise some allied training before CR, I had intended to look at setting up some training sessions after CR but my problem is that I don't have the skills to run them myself
,so your offer to help train the allied side is most welcome
. I've posted a suggestion that the allies read this thread and indicate whether they're interested or not, I'm definately up for this and hopefully enough of the others will be interested to make up a squad or two.

Im definetly up for it now i have half a Panzer loadout.
If its passed 9 there is a 95% chance im pissed.
Looks like we will have quite significant numbers for TD2. If there are any ex military personnel (preferably with instruction experience) out there who would be able to muck in and help out, your help would be appreciated. I reckon that Myself, Stubblehopper and 2 more would manage it nicely. We can then do a "round robin" of different training stands and bring it all together at the end of the day to give it all some relevance and to really push the training home.
It's my own intention to concentrate solely on snipers and to try to build a dedicated hardcore of players who want to specialise in this field. It's quite a long term commitment for anyone interested, as it can't all be covered in just a day (I could spend a whole day on just marksmanship!). I'll keep it as relevant as possible to airsoft and will condense it all into what I consider to be the necessary core skills required. I hope to produce not just snipers but valuable scout/recce troops who will be an asset to either side. In order to give the attention to detail this requires, I can only teach limited numbers. Anyone interested needs to consider their dedication first, and then drop me a PM, or post up on here.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Why arn't the allies doing anything like this?
I'd be happy to help out on a training event, I've helped train TA recruits in the past. Thing is I only have Allied kit.
The next training day will actually have some allies coming Morgs. Not to just act as enemy either. We reckon that the more skills players have, the better the games will be in the future. Our superior SS organisation can benefit everyone! You're more than welcome to join us, as well as to instruct if you like, the uniform doesn't matter. Stubblehoppper is on his hol's at the moment. As soon as he gets back, we will be sorting out a firm date and a training programme for the day as well.

Hey that's cool. If you're short on instructors I'm more than happy to pitch in on combat infanteering skills.
Brilliant! That's another instructor sorted then. Will keep you posted on developments.

Allright chaps in Dominican republic at the mo will be back on the 4th i hope its after then! All the local squaddies round here are armed with m1 carbines!
If its passed 9 there is a 95% chance im pissed.
Hooked up with Forrester at the CR weekend, unfortunately, the Phoenix Urban site has been closed due to Health and Saftey checks, looks like we'll have to think about scrapping the FIBUA idea and do a completely different programm instead. That is, unless someone else knows of a decent urban site in the midlands area that we can get in contact with and use instead.
John M is sounding out a couple of Urban sites one in the midlands and one in S.Yorkshire, I think we had 18 turn up for the first TD, if we can get a section of allies interested that might knock it up to thirty plus,we need to have a clear idea of how many are interested both allied and axis so we can work out a cost/head, so I'll post a booking thread for this as soon as we can firm up on a new location
We're hoping to sort something out oop here kinda north/west yorks for aug bh I think was discussed, not steallng limelight just thought you may not want to clash incase anyone wants to do both ![]()

sounds good stubble hopper, i can say that it pretty certain, me paul and phil will come
"Take that you rotton helping of strawberry flan!"
Joseph Porta to "strawberrys and cream", in the sven hassel book ,ogpu prison
Thread started to gauge Allied interest.
Perhaps I can host a session on how to pitch tents and stay happy in the face of adverse weather.
Personally I think Sho-Ka-Kola and the various bags of white powder I noticed in the Axis camp go a long way to explaining the morale levels! ![]()

shouldn't laugh but
the zelt tents tho put up to perfection leaked and I believe that was covered in the last training event
and yes lads am only winding you up
the underwater flooring system I realise wasn't planned, just the above comment made me giggle ![]()

Hi Stubblehopper
Count me in for the next TD for sure - hoping to have some more kit by then, too so I can come as SS rather than GD - I know it doesn't matter which - but am hoping to have some nice camo - ![]()
Top news Richard, see you at the TD

Crumbs, I can't imagine it ever being deemed fit for use - place is littered with asbestos, oil, cables, sheer drops, broken glass and the like.
Any chance it could be slightly more southerly? I've never had less than a 5-hour drive to get to any CiA event thus far.
Even midlands would be a luxury, but if I have to travel via the M1 again that'll put me right off.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
you'll be walking to the october one so stop ya yawping
![]()

Well, it's still about 50-60 miles, but that's better than 250. I know, I know, but if it's in the midlands it would save me an extra 2 hours drive each over Yorkshire.
